NOTICE OF VACANCY:

School Year: 2011-12

SUBSTITUTE CALLER

 (SUBSTITUTE TELEPHONE CLERK)

$13.85 - $16.84/HR

 

 

ASSIGNMENT: School Year: 2011-12, District Office - Human Resources, 5.0 hours, 7:00 a.m .to 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 months per year.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: To secure substitute and extra hire employees for both certificated, classified and yard staff who are absent from work.  Works with “Subfinder” system for certificated sub needs.

 

REQUIRES:  High school diploma or equivalent and one year of typing and general clerical experience. Type at a rate of 35 words per minute.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

 

Environment:             Office environment; subject to constant interruptions.

 

Physical Abilities:    Hearing and speaking to exchange information in person or on the telephone; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate personal computer and other office machines; sitting for extended periods of time; reaching overhead, above the shoulders, and horizontally, and bending at the waist to retrieve files; and seeing to read written materials.
