| Message from READY |
READY Program would like to inform parents that unexcused absences are becoming more frequent. Students that do not attend school and/or READY Program due to reasons such as leaving to go out of town or attending a birthday party will be marked as unexcused. READY Program only allows students 10 unexcused absences during the school year. Students will be dropped from the program if their absences exceed this number. Students also must be picked up on time from READY Program. Students must be picked up by 6:10 pm on regular days and must be picked up by 4:10 on mandatory early release days. Please contact Alyssa Spoelstra if you have any questions regarding your child’s absences in the READY Program at 559-585-3800. | CURRENT PILLAR: CARING | “It is in the shelter of each other that people live.” – Irish Proverb Have you heard of the word “forgiveness”? Forgiving is an important part of Caring. It means that when somebody hurts your feelings or does something ugly to you, you take a deep breath and decide to not “get even” with them. Guess what? If you choose to walk away rather than fight or yell, you are the stronger person. And you won’t get in trouble!
